Zombie Swap...

I had such a great time with my zombie doll for Yarnigras Swapper Spot's zombie swap this year. It was sent to it's new home on Saturday.

This year's swap was for "employable" zombies. We chose three professions and our swap partner selected one them to use as the zombie's theme.

My partner sent me the following list:
Nurse
Pilot/Flight Attendant
Secretary


I almost went with pilot but I went a different direction.

Now that she has arrived to her new home I can share some pictures...

  These swaps are so much fun. Not only do I get to make (and receive) a zombie, I get to shop or make other fun things for my swap partner.

 Above is the package I sent. I made a pumpkin. The scrapbook paper was too fun to pass up (I got one for myself as well) and the mug!! Oh boy, I love that mug.

New Etsy Shop Coming Soon

I am SO excited. I have been toying with this idea for a while now and have decided to open an Etsy shop devoted to zombies! That is right, an entire Etsy shop filled with one-of-a-kind sculpted zombies.

I am almost done my zombie for the Yarnigras Swapper Spot Zombie swap and once I send it on its way I will be working on a couple for my new store, ArtsyZombies. The shop is open but the only thing in it is one of the tiny dolls I made a while back, she is a cutie but not a zombie. I had to add a listing to open the shop :)

The picture above is my current shop icon. If you are familiar with my blog this is my Cinderella's Revenge sculpture. I haven't decided if I can part with her or not so she isn't in the shop.

I'll be updating policies, FAQs and the storefront this weekend.
